The Nick and Nora glass is inspired by a 1930's film about a detective couple. You can drink in that same debonair style. We won't ask you to also solve crimes.

    Overview

This classic Nick & Nora glass set of two is the perfect addition to your home or commercial bar. These vintage cocktail glasses are the definition of chic style, dating back to the post-Prohibition era.

Nick & Nora cocktail glasses are a particular style of stemmed glass named after the martini-swilling husband and wife detective team of Nick and Nora Charles from the 1934 film The Thin Man. Its sleek, dainty design was popular in the 1930s, and as of late, it has been making a comeback in cocktail bars across the country for drinks served without ice like sidecars, daiquiris, boulevardiers, gimlets, and Manhattans.

Like all classic Nick & Noras, the bowl of these bar glasses is deeper and less wide than a coup cocktail glass and not as top-heavy as a Martini glass. This makes them more stable, unique, and fashionable. At just 6 ounces, these barware glasses perfectly accommodate the volume of any craft cocktail. Larger glasses look half-empty with the same amount of liquid, to the disappointment of your guests.

With the resurgence in the demand for vintage cocktails, there has been an equal demand from bartenders and mixologists to have cocktail glassware to give these drinks the proper vessel.

With a wide, spill-resistant design and top-rack dishwasher safe strength, these crystal cocktail glasses will stand up to many years of elegant cocktail pours.

    • The resurgence of vintage cocktails created the demand by mixologists to have this popular stemmed piece replicated for today's generation
